Until the vast majority of the world’s population are effectively vaccinated, there will remain a need for large-scale serial-screening for Covid-19 in companies, institutions and communities.
Saliva samples are much easier to collect on a regular basis for Covid-19 screening by gold-standard PCR testing, and have a number of advantages over swab-based PCR testing.
Using a combination of both pooling and individual PCR testing for Covid-19 in saliva samples, Seile Biosciences provides a robust, efficient and cost-effective service that allows companies, institutions and communities to maintain and monitor their covid-free status.

Seile Biosciences is focused on delivery of next-generation diagnostics, surveillance and serial-screening systems (using saliva and other biofluids) for the detection and management of infectious diseases (e.g. Covid-19) in institutions, companies and communities.
Our mission is to provide research-based solutions for large-scale highly accurate rapid serial screening for Covid-19 to enable covid-free institutions, companies, communities and events.
Seile Biosciences current focus is on cost-effective and efficient provision of highly accurate serial-screening research services for detection of Covid-19 cases in groups of people within companies, institutions and communities.
Our Company
Seile Biosciences is an Irish startup company that works with partner laboratories and commercial partners in Ireland and globally for the development and deployment of high-throughput diagnostics, surveillance and serial-screening systems for infectious diseases.
The name Seile is derived from the Gaelic Irish term for saliva. It reflects the focus of our company on saliva and other biofluids, and our origins during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Seile Biosciences was founded in 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic to provide rapid saliva-based Covid-19 screening services for more effective diagnostics, surveillance and serial-screening systems for Covid-19 and other infectious diseases.
